Wrekmeister Harmonies
Wrekmeister Harmonies
JR Robinson and Esther Shaw have been the creative heart of Wrekmeister Harmonies since 2014. Through their various collaborators and incarnations (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Thor Harris, Ryley Walker, The Body, Einstürzende Neubauten) they have remained the constant pulse of the band as well as co-owners of Coptic Light Coffee. The past year has seen the duo perform as openers for bands as diverse as doom merchants Bell Witch to gothic folk enchanter Marissa Nadler in both the US and Europe. This tour will be their first as headliners with the duo performing material from 2016’s critically acclaimed Thrill Jockey release Light Falls as well as previewing material from their forthcoming release The Alone Rush. Not to be missed.
Aerial Ruin
Aerial Ruin
Aerial Ruin, based in Portland, OR is the primarily acoustic solo project of Erik Moggridge whose current and former bands include Old Grandad, Drift of a Curse and the late eighties/early nineties thrash/death metal band Epidemic. Moggridge also serves as a guest vocalist/collaborator with Seattles doom duo Bell Witch, performing and recording on select songs and occasions.

Aerial Ruin channels the darkest of psychedelia in sonic ritual to a place where soaring heights and smoldering depths are one and the same. Though often referred to as folk music and influenced by the likes of Mark Lanegan and Syd Barrett hints of Moggridges diverse metal past can be heard lurking between the cracks of Aerial Ruins songs.

April 29, 2016 sees Aerial Ruin kick off an extensive North American tour in support of the vinyl release of the "ash of your cares" LP and new digital single "Igen". This tour sees Aerial Ruin covering many regions of the US and Canada between late April and early July. Aerial Ruin will share the stage with a diversity of excellent bands/musicians in a variety of venues and DIY settings. This follows up extensive touring both in North America and Europe for much of 2015.

The vinyl version of "ash of your cares" full-length follows up the self released cd/digital version of the album and a limited tour cassette by Belief Mower Records both released in Spring 2015.

In 2014 Aerial Ruin toured the southwest/west coast and then headed to overseas for the first time for a two week tour of central Europe opening for Galacian forest folk combo Sangre de Muerdago. Aerial Ruin has also done short regional tours with Agalloch, Worm Ouroboros, Taurus, Makato Kawabata, ?Alos, Will O' The Wisp, Rye Wolves and Hallow since re-locating to Portland, OR from San Francisco in 2009.

Aerial Ruin will continue to perform and record throughout 2016 and beyond.
