Maya Zeller
Maya Jewell Zeller grew up in the Northwest. She has taught writing and literature to high school and college students, fourth graders, and senior citizens, and has been a writer-in-residence in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. Recipient of a 2016 Promise Award from the Sustainable Arts Foundation, her work has also won awards from Sycamore Review, New South, New Ohio Review, Dogwood, Florida Review and Crab Orchard Review, and has been nominated for Pushcart Prizes. She is the author of the poetry collections Rust Fish (April 2011, Lost Horse Press) and Yesterday, the Bees (October 2015, Floating Bridge Press). Other manuscripts have been finalists with the National Poetry Series, University of Wisconsin, Prairie Schooner, Waywiser, and elsewhere, and poems, essays, and reviews appear in journals such as Bellingham Review, West Branch, Pleiades, New Ohio Review, High Desert Journal, Cincinnati Review, The Rumpus, Willow Springs, The Moth, and Rattle, as well as anthologies such as Forest Under Story, All We Can Hold, and New Poets of the American West. Maya serves as Fiction Editor for Crab Creek Review and Poetry Editor for Scablands Books; she also teaches poetry (writing) and poetics for Central Washington University.

Liz Rognes
Liz Rognes is a musician, writer, and teacher who lives in Spokane, Washington.

Liz is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has a B.A. in music from St. Catherine University, and her songwriting influences range from indie-folk to Americana to jazz.

Her writing has been featured in various journals and magazines. She has an M.F.A. in creative writing from Eastern Washington University.
