Boat Race Weekend
Boat Race Weekend
Boat Race Weekend is an alternative/emo/however-you-want-classify-it rock band based out of Spokane, WA. Their sound combines elements of indie, emo, and post rock to create an ambient and hard hitting sound that is uniquely their own.

The three childhood best friends got their start playing dimly lit, high-energy DIY house shows in the summer of 2013. Fast forward two years and you have their debut LP, The Talisman, which was featured on Indie Rock Cafe's "Best DIY music of 2015”. Their sophomore release, Throw Your Head to the World! (2016), received national and international attention from publications such as New Noise Magazine, Idobi Radio, and Dying Scene. Since returning from their first west coast tour last summer, the trio has been hard at work creating the best possible record they can. They will be celebrating the release of this latest album, “Near & Dear”, at The Bartlett on June 8th.
Griffey
Griffey
One drummer, one guitarist, one percussionist, and one Chapman stick player. Emotive vocals and angsty yells. What years ago originally started as a two piece in a garage, Griffey has evolved both it’s lineup and sound over the years. Noodley guitar riffs and aggressive drums, with post rock elements will keep you bopping your head along to some odd time signatures and what we like to call, "fancy 4/4". Currently working on their third release, Griffey is excited to bring fresh material to the stage.

de-eem is Micah Luebben and Darby Meegan. They met in the winter of 2014 at a coffee shop in Washington state, and helped form a rock band with friends. That band dissolved when Darby moved to Spokane and Micah to Cannon Beach.

They reunited in early 2018 when Micah moved to Spokane, and soon started playing together as a duo.

With their laid back sound that touches on indie rock, neo-soul, and surf vibes, Micah’s unruly voice and guitar licks juxtapose well with Darby’s Hip-Hop inspired producing and synthesizer work.

de-eem is recording their first EP and planning shows throughout the summer to join the Spokane music scene.
